Jes Laverack | Director
Jes Laverack is a Director born in Sydney, Australia. Jes’ career began in 2008 as an Actor where he worked on various productions such as The Great Gatsby. His education in film began in Theatre and moved onto Screen Performance at Screenwise which inspired him to receive further education in the industry behind the camera, leading him to study at SAE Sydney where he completed an Associate Degree with a GPA of 6.5 awarding him a Distinction.
Jes launched his professional career at Reel Focus as a Content Producer, where he produced successful series such as “Three Birds Renovations” and “Super Toy Squad,” the latter achieving over 1 million views online. Building on this success, Jes founded his own company, Jes Laverack Films.
Under his direction, Jes Laverack Films produced the mini-documentary “Aspire to Inspire” (2022) and is currently working on the web series “Kit.” He is also filming the pilot “Shenanigans” with Tom Haramis, a recipient of accolades from the 2023 Cannes World Film Festival. Jes’ innovative vision and dedication to storytelling continue to drive his success in the industry.
Perle Isimbi | Producer
Perle Isimbi is a Sydney based Creative Producer who’s been in the industry for over 5yrs. She started her career in the industry as an entertainment journalist/presenter at TV/Radio 10 (Rwanda) and later moved to Australia to further expand her career.
Perle earned her Bachelor's Degree in Film Production, which provided her with a solid foundation in the technical aspects of the craft. Her education equipped her with the necessary skills to bring creative visions to life on the big screen.
Perle proceeded to work with renowned companies and productions such as BuzzFeed, Australia's Got Talent, RMK Management, Lego Masters and played a crucial role in productions like "Aspire to Inspire", "No Ordinary Love” and is currently producing the web series "Kit".
Beyond her technical skills, Perle possesses a strong passion for storytelling. She understands the power of narratives to inspire, entertain, and provoke thought. This profound appreciation for the craft drives her to make a name for herself in the industry as well as create impactful content that leaves a lasting impression on viewers.
